1. Information We Collect

The AEPS Smart Ledger Chrome Extension and Mobile App collect the following data points during your business transactions:

• Transaction Details: Amount, RRN (Reference Number), and Transaction Type.
• Customer Identifiers: Mobile Number and the last 4 digits of the Aadhaar number. Note: We NEVER capture or store full Aadhaar numbers.
• Business Info: Bank Name and the portal name where the transaction was performed.
• User Identity: Email and Mobile Number used during registration for account management.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the collected data solely for the following purposes:

• To maintain your digital Ledger/Register automatically.
• To sync your data between your PC (Extension) and Mobile App.
• To provide business analytics and profit summaries.
• To automate receipt generation for your customers via WhatsApp.

3. Data Security & Encryption

We take security seriously. All sensitive data (like mobile numbers and bank info) is encrypted before being sent to our cloud servers (Supabase). This means even if someone accessed the database, they could not read your customers' private information without your unique encryption key.

4. Third-Party Access

We do not sell, trade, or rent your business data to third parties. Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure provided by Supabase (a trusted industry platform).

5. Control & Deletion

You have full control over your data. You can export your transaction history or request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time through the Admin Panel or by contacting support.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
